Born in Murray, Kentucky. A 1998 graduate of Calloway County High School, 2003 graduate of Murray State University and 2008 graduate of Salmon P. Chase College of Law – Northern Kentucky University. Admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 2008 and subsequently began practicing at the law firm of Busald, Funk & Zevely, P.S.C. in Florence, Kentucky in the areas of personal injury, family and criminal law. Active in many different areas of the community including Season's Readings, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charity formed and run by Mitch that provides thousands of free books to children in Murray and Calloway County during the Christmas season, as well as a book club at the Calloway County Jail called Chapters for Change. Mitch proudly serves on the Calloway County School District Board.
Mitchell T. Ryan has been member of the Kentucky Bar Association since 2008, the Kentucky Justice Association (formerly Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys) since 2009, the American Bar Association since 2008 and the Calloway County Bar Association since 2009. Admitted to practice law in all courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
